We know this from the inside.
thrvhub was built by educators and parents who got tired of watching people struggle for want of the right knowledge.
Why we built thrvhub
We've both sat in the same rooms. IEP meetings, school corridors, professional development sessions that left us with more questions than answers. We've been the parent trying to decode a diagnosis report, and the educator trying to support a student without the right tools to do it properly.
What struck us, every time, was how much difference the right knowledge makes. Not theory. Not jargon. The kind of practical, honest understanding that changes what you do the next morning.
That knowledge existed. It just wasn't accessible. It was locked behind expensive workshops, dense academic papers, or scattered across corners of the internet that took hours to find and longer to trust.
thrvhub was built to fix that. Practical courses, written by people who've lived this, designed for people who don't have hours to spare.
It started as our life.
Dave spent years in and around schools, working directly with students who learn differently and watching, up close, how much the right support changes a child's trajectory. He also knows what it's like from the other side of the table: as the parent of a neurodivergent child, he's sat through the meetings, navigated the waiting lists, and learned to advocate in systems that weren't always designed with his family in mind.
It was that combination, professional knowledge and personal experience, that made thrvhub feel necessary. Not just useful. Necessary. He built it for the educators who care but feel underprepared, and for the parents who are doing everything right but still feel lost.
Dave and Emily met while studying Education Support, and the bond they formed there became the foundation for everything thrvhub is built on.
Emily brings specialist expertise and a rare ability to explain complex ideas without losing any of their depth. Her courses are warm, precise, and built around what a learner can actually do with the information, not just what they'll know after it. She has a way of making people feel capable rather than overwhelmed, which is exactly what this kind of learning calls for.
As a neurodivergent person raising neurodivergent children, her passion for this work goes well beyond the professional. She knows these experiences from the inside, and that understanding shapes everything she creates.
Her work at thrvhub covers some of the most challenging and under-resourced areas in neurodivergent education, and her learners consistently describe her content as the clearest, most usable professional development they've encountered. Emily and Dave met while studying Education Support, and that shared foundation is what everything here is built on.

The right knowledge changes everything.
We believe that when the people around a neurodivergent learner have the right knowledge and tools, everything changes. Not eventually. Right away.
That's why every course on thrvhub is built around a single question: what does someone actually need to know to help right now? Not theory for theory's sake. Not academic language that takes a PhD to decode. Practical knowledge, clearly explained, immediately useful.
Because every learner deserves someone in their corner who actually knows what they're doing.
